Actually there is NO role of MP to influence/speed up the process. BuT what happens that there are human beings working on 1000 of files so there is a possibility of any error/un intentionally overlook of a file..

I will personally req members to contact local MP who is in Gov(In Canada) to get updates on your file if it has been waiting for more than 2 months without any correspondence. It could be a co incidence but it worked for me.

I am on same timeline. Ever Since AOR2 that was received on Nov 14th I haven’t heard anything. To get to know any red flags I requested local MP to get updates from IRCC/CIC. The MP office will get back to me in 14 days with the update.

May 2019 Applicant AOR 2: Nov 14th, 2019 No pre arrival, No additional documents requested, No nothing. Just wait.....

If you are residing in Canada, You should also update your CNIC from single to marriage. They will make a new CNIC. Send the new CNIC of yourself and your wife along with the new updated passport to Sydney office.

I think you should change the cnic first with Husband’s name instead of father’s + Obtain FRC by marriage and also make a new passport with a updated column of Husband’s name instead of father’s. Once both get updated sent both to Sydney office with a cover letter that The updated cnic copy and...

Its Not mandatory but it can give cic/IRCC a reason to doubt the relationship. And it will be difficult to provide a genuine reason on the objection that why you want to use her father’s name instead of husband’s.

Lol exactly this is the dark part of our society, They never even have the full knowledge of the cases which according to them are completed in 4 months..

I hope the Officers at LVO would check these timelines and would feel the pain that every couple is feeling by living apart. They could silently even check the genuinity of the relationships of the applicants who are in timelines,, checking CIC status every day after 5 times prayers lol
