My CIC finally shows approved however VFS still shows under progress. Tomorrow will mark five weeks since the 7th of September- submission date. How long till my passport is ready?

you should be fine as long as the dimensions are right.

Mine has been with the embassy since the 10th of September (Submitted to VFS on the 7th) , it could be due to the fact that I'm not on a residence visa in the emirates but VFS did accept it. Hopefully it will be cleared within 40 days based on previous post within this forum who were also asked...

No change in over a month, still says in progress.

Yup been a months wait for me as well since the embassy does not deal with us. VFS says it can be over a months wait and passport return timeline varies "case to case"

VFS will provide you a withdrawal form which you need to fill and revert back to them, takes five buisness days and your application will process. once its finalized they will ask for your passport again.

Yes our passports can be withdrawn from the embassy which will take VFS 4/5 business days Ince we fill the withdrawal form and the PR process will be ongoing w/o our passports at the embassy. When the process is finalized they will ask for our passports back again according to the VFS agent today.

Yup I have sent a mail as well last week Wednesday but no response yet. They are located within the Abu Dhabi mall.

With the tracking document VFS has provided, you do have one right? I mean they have to provide us with a response since my UAE visa will expire very soon and I will have to have the country- passport required for that! When I called VFS last time they suggested I find out from the embassy...

Expect at least a months wait, anything before that is quick. My passport is with the embassy for a month now.

Nothing yet, tomorrow will be a month since the embassy has my passport and will visit VFS and the embassy to find out why they are taking so long.

Yea I agree its the worst feeling when a month is up and we have no idea what is happening with our passports.

VFS tracking page says under progress and CIC says in progress for now.
