@tisrod , my question to the forum is that you applied for Outland sponsorship but you (the PA) is living in Canada on a work permit. Is that allowed? Or are you supposed to have applied inland? Does the forum know anything about this issue, how inland versus Outland works when the PA lives in...

Hi there, SSNIT is like a social security/pension like program in Ghana (that's how my husband explains it). The mother of my husbands son didn't have a passport or drivers licence that's why we used her voters ID card that had her photo on it and her SSNITT card because it had a photo on it as...

This has always been the case, AVO has always been behind other VOs. It's depressing but it's same old same old. You can only hope that the new commitment will make things seem a bit more like a level playing field. When I joined this forum before I even applied in august 2016 AVO was processing...

Like @Ugoswife we got asked to bring a copy of signed ID from the mother to the interview along with passport photos for the son (that's all we were asked to bring). The son is non accompanying and I think they just wanted to check why my husband didn't want him to come, and we didn't because he...

You will be fine. That is normal. You should supply a copy of signed ID from the father also, if they didn't already ask. My husband was asked for his sons mothers ID and the son wasn't even travelling with us. I suggest you add it.

Also I know @queenanetor has been helping you, maybe @kwame22 and @BlackDiamond might have some advice. We were not asked to bring relationship or identity proofs, and the questions were less about our relationship and more about my husbands son. Anyone else weigh in with more relationship...

What @Ugoswife said is true, they just want to confirm they are not yours. Also, it is best not to sit and question AVO too much, just follow their instructions because it's time that is of the essence.

@Cosey you're only at 15 months today. If you have an intended place you will be living in Canada you can contact the MP for that area once 16 months has passed and have them investigate your case for you. You may still hear from AVO yet. We have given you all the information we can. You are...

What if you provide the photo copy of the UK one, and a note about it as well as file for a new one and show proof that you did. Is it expensive?
