I concur that I did my medicals on 27 Sept but as US PCC got delayed, I submitted all my documents on 21-Nov. I am still waiting for my PPR or DM status, so I think NDVO is working according to the RPRF, PCC & Meds received at NDVO.

You said you have applied for PCC...does that mean your police verification has been initiated?? It will take around 20-30 days on time taken by SP office for verification. Once your verification is done you can request the person doing your verification to send your report to SP office ASAP...

It will take you around 3 months to get your PR card once you land. So you will not be entitled to any medical benefits till then, for initial 3 months you will have to get your own insurance coverage. you might want to consider this before deciding

It is at discretion of PSK whether to initiate the verification or not. In my case they issued my Husband's PCC in 1 hour and initiated police verification for myself. So you really cant say how much time it will take until you get one
