Biometric code gets updated the same day. My experience is also the same. But there has been no further correspondence from the IRCC. And its time that the medicals should've been updated.

If you did a job legally and have all the proofs of employment it won't be considered a gap!

The entire process from application to approval takes about 6-7 weeks in cases like yours!

Someone I know did. You'll be notified about giving the medicals 15 days after your bio-metric most probably!

Have you received the acknowledgement letter? And have you passed the medical test?

I applied through Delhi VAC! Applied for a Master's program in a University. Ideally the online method should be faster but that isn't the case! offline people are getting it way earlier than us.

If there had to be any delay because of easter or good friday then that should've been for everyone. I know at least 5 people who applied after 7-8 April and have received a decision. Not even passing the medicals seems strange to me. Anyway, did you apply online or offline? And which VAC?

Don't worry. It takes 28 days for the high commission to respond. Also, you are not the only person who's Study Permit has been delayed. There are lots of other people on this forum who're sailing in the same boat such as you.

You should probably contact CIC through webform.
