    You can send an e-mail to them and that's the only way to find out if your app has reached Vienna. I cannot say how many months... It is case specific. It can be tomorrow, 4 months, 6, 12?? We have to be patient:)

    Vienna VO don't send AOR's. They never did. They just send e-mail regarding MR or additional documentation requests after certain period of time.

    Tania, Vienna visa office usually don't have the custom to send e-mails if everything is ok with the application. They don't send AOR's like SGDVO or NDVO, as per my understanding... If they want to clear some information they'll send you an e-mail --- otherwise wait for the medical :)

    Do not worry about the envelope! it is surely not important at all! What counts is only papers inside the envelope :) My application was sent in a folder, that we had to put in a box. Its weight was nearly 4 kilograms. We got our CC charged and PER.

    If you want to change the data after validating I suggest you to do all from the scratch. That's what I did.

    And ofcourse if you save the pdf form on conputer once you don't have to be connected to thr internet to validate them. People misunderstood the purpose of validation. When you validate something, it means that all the boxes are filled properly.there is no other purpose of validation, nor CIC...

    The forms are not dangerous at all, it can be dangerous if you send them by mail but are nod filled properly.each form you can open billion times and save them on your computer and click whatever you like.

    Just a thought-I don't think that document checklist dated before 17th May and used for the application will be a problem. In the format of the checklist that was updated first the only difference was demand for spouses' educational documentation. Evertything else like ECA, spouses' IELTS etc...

    Please specify which form IMM0008 do you think you got wrong? There are 3 IMM0008 forms-generic IMM0008, additional dependants IMM0008 and Economic Classes IMM0008 Economic classes. Generic has the footer 04-2013 and economic has 05-2013. Marta's problem was usage of IMM economic classes 2012...

    You did ok, the translation doesn't need to be notarized at all! If you notarize the translation of notarized document, then it's not the same as the original anymore:) so don't panic:)
