I received my AOR2 finally. CIC required further document from my sponsor which I forward and CIC confirm receipt Sep 26, 2016. Today Oct 13, 2016. Now forward to VO to process.

I did not pay right of permanent resident fee just application fees. Is there a way to pay now and inform them or is it better to wait for CIC to reply me?

Found out after talking to CIC consultant that i need to click next page so it will brings me to the next page where i can attach documents. FYI~ CIC Call centre call waiting time had drastically improve, we waited for less thn 15 mins for the consultant to attend to us. Kudos CIC

When (date) did CIC received your application? I received my AOR1 yesterday, CIC received on Aug 10, 2016. If you appoint a representative, all correspondence goes direct to them. You can phone them to enquire it.

You have to check on CIC site under your countries to see if you can request PCC without official CIC request letter (which my country require), if yours don't, you can do your PCC and send it out together in. It save alot of time and your application can get approval faster too.

I believe CIC had just revised the form in Jul 2016. They had revised the number of photos. I used to require #5 bit now just #2. Most countries require just #2. Go into CIC site to check for latest form.

I don't think Canada Post will strike since Ca gov had annouced should they (workers) strike, they are not taking them back but to be on a safe side. You can always courier out. My package were delivered by UPS on Aug 10, 2016. Signed off by David.

I used Hangout to call USA or Canada phone number free. You just downliad the app and of cos you require internet but your spouse do not require to download the app. You can call his or her mobile number directly. That is the best app i found so far. Good luck.
