    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Hey d4d, we both are in the same boat. I too had moved out of Canada in early 2013 and returned in October of 2014 due to work. During this time I had got married and then subsequently got married and sponsored my wife. NDVO did ask my intention to move back to Canada along with the same...

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

You are corret desi2; however I looked at their form RC65. However that form requires spouse's signature and since my wife is still not landed in Canada, what are my options? besides when I got married I was living in India as an overseas Canadian citizen for a long time. It's only of late that...

Nothing wrong with what you have done too. I did the same when I was married for the 1st time and since that resulted in a higher tax refund it raised red flag in their system and those people came back to me asking for my ex's world income and all that s#$t. I submitted all of them and they...

I did inform my tax accountant to change it however he did not. I presume that since he has not met my wife (as she is yet to get her visa) he has not changed it. If your wife is already there, then I think it may make sense to update the status and this way gain tax credits.

    NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

Oh boy.. still 2013 cases are pending is it? It's ridiculous as they say on their site that it takes around 16 months to finalize the cases. Wonder how much of a time these as##$%^s need? 16 months is sufficient to come to a decision and it's not fair for people to put their lives on hold for...

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

You can apply for a vistor's visa while the application is under process under spousal category. However when to apply for this depends on your time line i.e. when did you apply for your wife's permanent resident visa under spousal category etc., So if you can share your timeline then one of us...

That's what the MP's assistant said too " there is a backlog at my end but will try and get this processed as soon as I can and will call you once I have some details". Will update the forum once I have some details.

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Today I went to the office of Joan Crockatt and submitted a written request for MP enquiry. Told them that I filed my application on 1st April 2014 and so far no news from NDVO. Showed the assistant my case notes as well where in they have concluded that the marriage is genuine. She looked at...

Be strong and keep the faith Fiza. I know it's easier said than done but then we unfortunately have no choice but to wait; and that waiting and waiting is the hardest part.

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Guys - I am looking at getting a MP enquiry done in the coming week because there has been no action on my wife's file despite the GCMS case notes indicating that our relationship is genuine. No red flags whatsoever anywhere. Wondering what is the procedure to meet a MP from my riding for the...

Then may be you could send it to Ottawa. I would wait for that PPR document and once I receive it based on what is mentioned I would act accordingly. The problem is that our spouses being in India, very few of them would have come to Canada on a visit visa because 97% of the times it is refused...

Where did you file your application? - NDVO isn't it? If that's the case regardless of where you are staying, I think the pp has to go to NDVO. However I would check with a local CIC office close to your location to find precise factual information.

Paper clips are better if you want to package the whole/all forms into a big envelope. Don't staple all of it. However in case let's say a form (for ex: IMM100 or whatever that form name is), has 4 pages, then I would staple it and not paper clip it. I would only paper clip all the forms in the end.
