    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

My relationship with my wife has been concluded as being genuine based on GCMS case notes. My point to the other member was to be patient (as I felt that she/he might have applied for a visa recently) as other than that there is nothing that one can do.

2 months maximum I suppose. Just hang in man, at least your case has reached it's finish line. In my case despite our relationship being genuine (as per gcms case notes), our file has not inched any further. It will be exactly a year in about 2 weeks time since filing.

Exactly Fiza... it's too early for any enquiry for an August applicant. It's surprising that the MP even did an enquiry. Wonder when our turns (April 2014) will come. Just getting bored with this process and in fact put a lot of financial commitments also on hold because of this immigration by...

Why do you need ILETS certificate if you are being sponsored under family class? IMO it's meaningless sending it. The rest of the documentation may hold some value but not ILETS if you are applying under family class.

Congratulations Preetinderbedi. The fact that you have a lawyer in between, NDVO won't entertain your request if you write to them directly. Basically any query or question or clarification, you will have to route it via your lawyer. Just tell your lawyer and he should be able to do it for you.

By all means you could try all of the above as suggested, but truth is Indian car driving license does not take you too far. If you have international drivers license it could help you one step further; UK,ANZ,US and other western countries license can help you get a local driving license...

When you have got it done (remedicals) the very next day, what is there to inform them? You can inform them and generally if you don't hear from them for 6 weeks then consider that you have cleared your medicals. That's my take on this.

Thanks ydj_dil. The due date is mentioned under Family Class Sponsorship Eligibility and not under Application Assignment. Under Application Assignment due date is set to 2015/01/02; basically 2nd Jan 2015 and that date has also elapsed. Not sure what this means. Medicals have expired long...

Thanks ydj_dil for clarifying the info. as I felt that there is a subtle difference between In Process and In Progress. In Process seems to be superior to In Progress (from what was mentioned on this forum elsewhere). Last week when I received the GCMS case info, w.r.t Security and Criminality...

lol.. haaaa.. I did now ;D BTW- One of the member's pointed about how slow the department is in it's office at Vegreville. However that office does not deal our cases. I think only Mississauga deals with our cases (besides NDVO). Is Mississauga also as slow as them wherein they hire casual...
