I would include the letter so that of they do try to lie that letter indicates that they are lying. That letter is much like a statutory declaration swearing to the details to be true.

I married in denmark and only needed the stat dec. It is a letter u can weite yourself or get a lawyer or commissioner for oaths to make and sign with them comissioning it. I wrote t myself using a stat dec template stating i wwas dovorced in blank date and am of single status.
