Another user on another forum just got his oath approved. His RQ was submitted in aug 2012! I seem a little more hopeful now!

A bunch of stuff especially my movement in the past from UAE. Anyhow I submitted it as professionally as possible. I guess it's true. They are processing backwards, as people applying in the past 2 years have become citizens within 6 months - 2 years! Good Luck!

Called them today, and the week before. All the agents are saying now that they have your 2nd rq, it's just a matter of time. I'm pasting my timeline again to let people know that no matter how long it takes, patience is the key! As well as having faith in the system! :) Thanks for the support...

Mailed Application on Sept.22nd 2014 Received Application on Sept 26th. Processing on Oct 2nd. Received new PR card in mail on Oct 7th 2014. --URGENT RENEWAL-- 8)

Sorry to say, unfortunately you have gone into the non-routine cases. But it should not take you 36 months to get your citizenship, just submit all your RQ information once you receive the letter within 45 days and hopefully you should be processed within 12 months at most.

Thank you for the kind words, but what was I supposed to do? Getting the US entry/exit records took 2 months in itself! lol
