Just in case ask your wife to write cover letter with her signature on it which matches her signature in passport in case if some one ask why is your friend carry extra passport :) If not just simply use mail services.

Well, you are right SaiSivaRam. It's a bit confusing. Same thing with my app. Due day passed 3 weeks ago and still no PPR. I guess that strike cause lots of mess in there system and now they trying to keep up. All I can suggest is simply to be patient and wait. Good luck to all of us. Cheers.

I got my notes today. Just need to figure out where is it says about assigned to an officer.

My ecas stays same for the past 3 month. We received your application for permanent residence on March 28, 2013. We started processing your application on August 14, 2013. Medical results have been received. How do I know if officer is assigned?
