does anyone ever got their passport before they updated the status to decision made? this waiting is killing me! :(

my time line application filed= aug 2010 file transffered= sep 2010 Aor recieved= oct 2010 added daughter to application=may 2011 sent supplementary+ additional pictures with daughter remedical+ppr=19th nov

i did not get a repcc or imm forms request. during my initial review we contacted the mp ans she informed that background checks where complete i think it depends on how long they take for backgroundchecks...

Because its almost 2 years since i got married...hv a 8 month old daughter now.. and all the cases everyone aound me seems to know off were done in 9 months so they think there must be something wrong or my husband doesnt want me there...u know pakistani aunties hv their own logic ::)

another quick question how certain is it after u get PPr that ull get the visa? i mean can something go wrong after that? mayb iam being paranoid or its the disbelief of the people around me that i might actually be going to canada

hey does anyone know that we can track our remedical via a tracking number??? i didnt know AND i just found out that although i completed my medical on the 21st they still havent mailed it yet!!! no wonder it takes soooooooooo long so unnecessary

well u know it also depend on how helpfull the mp is. my husbands mp was her self an immigrant so she is very helpful. we hv contacted her every week and she is the only one who would give us usefull in formation in as little as 2 days when we would get it from nowhere else.

that is only fr PR who have to add the baby to the spouse's application.

im not a hundred percent certain but from my experience i can say that if u add the baby before the initial review it is a month or so delayed but if u add it afterward its 3 to 4 months longer.

u know i was in the same position a week ago. i received my remedical request 20 days later then they sent it out! it might just b a mail delay

whats ur timeline gola jee? i heard that jason kenny increased the family visa quota for the next year maybe thats what this is about...
