Hegarty... the logical reason is ... once they announced regular CEC FSW were closing and Express Entry would start from Jan 1 2015 ... thousand of people applied for CEC and most of them mustve had their work permit expiring within the first 4 months of 2015. hence the backlog and delay

Yo I dont know man .. ur confusing me and urself too ..I dont understand what ur saying .. The work permit fee in Feb was 155$ each person. I dont know how u paid 100$ ..

K never heard of that before. When I filed on Feb 6 for me and Feb 11 for her .. it clearly said spouse needed to file work permit by herself and could not be attached to my file.

You added you wife onto the application for that you filled for ur bowp ? So in 1 form you had ur name and ur wifes name too ??? Is this what your saying ?

It has to be separate .. you cannot apply for any permit in 1 application besides PR application

I ordered mine on Feb 24 . and when it came on March 24 .. There was no significant change ..just rcmp said no traces found (keeping in mind those updates were all as of Feb 24)

So since you are on work permit - you need a TRV (multiple or single thats upto you.) Your wife if shes on visitor .. she will have a visa validity for visiting stamped on the passport .. usually it expires on the passports expiry date .. she doesnt need a TRV she can walk straight thru...

I applied on Feb 6 got mine on April 9 Spouse applied on Feb 11 got hers on April 14 (today)

So Zareef .. just to confirm .. you didnt receive any MR?

but that is just a timeline .. if september peeps are getting MR by May end and June .. it should ideally take 2 months from there to attain your PR. So say August end all september peeps should be PRs
