My take on this. PT is synonymous to ITA in some sense. Editing the profile after receiving PT/ITA could have ramifications...hence needs to be dealt with caution. If someone is willing to try and report back, be my guest

Are you sure?? I guess no one is sure about anything, but lets be a bit conservative with our suggestions. Case in point - Certain NOC codes have not received PT's. For instance, there are a bunch of guys in this forum with NOC 2174 awaiting PTs (even with Canadian work experience). Hence...

Based on what I observed, no one from NOC 2174 received PT. Hence its likely that you may have problems if you change your noc to 2174. Better call CIC before editing your EE profile.

There is another thread for aspirants with active EE profile (score above 400 etc.) who are awaiting PT's to connect ..but something you should know. Appears no PT has been issued for noc's 2172, 2173 and 2174 (doesn't matter if you have Canadian experience or not)...There could be more...

Our list just expanded..Appears no PT has been issued for noc's 2172, 2173 and 2174 (doesn't matter if you have Canadian experience or not)... A trend is starting to emerge, unless someone proves us wrong.. :)

Thanks rkurtur. There you go.. you confirmed my suspicion. Noc's 2173/2174 seems to be left out for some reason. Perhaps, they already have amply supply of Software Engineers (IT professionals). Just guessing. Btw, I hear 2173 is regulated in Ontario. Do you hold any license?

We have reasons to believe PT's are decided based on few factors, and one of them is NOC code. They are not randomly issuing PT's to everyone as stated in the forum. I think they are carefully scrutinizing the labor demand / Supply in Ontario and taking the call. I can't see anyone with NOC 2173...

Someone told me that they are yet to invite IT professionals (Noc 2174) who belong to FSW category (no Canadian work experience) for OOPNP. Can someone prove me wrong plss?

i guess the PT's started coming on Friday in the second half (not sure though)...Hope it follows the same trend today...Good luck to everyone who's waiting for it.

I am posting on behalf of my bro. He deleted and created his EE profile on June 5'th and his score in 439. Fingers crossed! Did anyone receive PTs this morning?

I just checked my ecas status. Lines 3 (Medical received) and 4 (Decision made) have been added (in last couple of days). Overall ecas status has changed to "Decision made". I hope its positive news.. awaiting passport request now. Fingers crossed. :)

I am awaiting my GCMS notes in a week. I presume my file did not go under second review, since I already got my RPRF back in March and the letter stated that I cleared eligibility. Thx
