So I rang today after almost 2 weeks - no movement at all since last call. My application is still in Ottawa with no BG or criminality check started. Who said Ottawa is fast...seems like lazy bunch to me or at least my officer! Anyhow, looking at this forum, there are plenty others in the same...

You are not alone, I'm in the same boat as you! Application is being dealt at Ottawa (which is considered super fast office).

After how many days do you think it's appropriate to ring IRCC again? I'm stuck at IP1 since 27th June...seems my long and lovely travel history has come to haunt me now in this wait.

I have requested GCMS notes today. I am not aware that it leads to ADR requests. I know that it takes 35 days to get them but whole point is to put application back on the radar of CIC ....at least that's my hope.

Your application might not get handled by LVO at all except last step of submission of passport (for non-visa exempt countries). Shruty's case prove this. I was expecting mine to move to London from Ottawa but CIC agent never hinted at that. It's all on 'case by case' basis.

Congrats! Good sign for all us FSW-O (non US). I'm still stuck at IP1 since 27th June, so have just ordered my GCMS notes (more to pretend that I am doing something or still have some control in this process :(). I hope at least it gives them a nudge to get back on the job.o_O

There is not set procedure it seems. Convention (if any exists) says that after eligibility met, it goes for BG check as service agent said. Perhaps, an officer at the end go through all the recommendations (including eligibility) on the application before giving a final green flag. Eligibility...

I had the same status last week when I called. They didn't specify if the application would move to LVO. They only mentioned that 'third party partners' would carry out background checks next.

Please find guide to post AOR steps here: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/post-aor-step-by-step.511257/ Also, I would recommend that you join July AOR group (as your submission is in July) instead to compare your application's progress with your...

I can understand your concern especially being from USA as general trend is that they are quicker but I'm sure you are not alone. Hang on and as someone pointed that on occasions, status never change from IP1 to IP2 at all....and you still get golden email.

Could you please provide applicant type - CEC/FSW-I/FSW-O(USA)/FSW-O(Non-US) as it will help others to benchmark, gauge their own progress and reply in helpful manner? Adding this info in your signature with timelines would definitely make this forum more efficient as most of the to and fro...

If you are in Asia, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, it doesn't get roll out till end of this year. Within EMEA, certain set would need to provide it (I think AOR submission from today onwards might have this extra step but not sure). Anyhow, if needed, I'm sure you will be instructed. It's just...
