Do we have any progress with April? I applied on April 11th and my permit is expiring on July 31st so I basically followed cic 4 month rule and now they might not even process it on time throwing me to the implied status? This is getting ridiculous...

Well to be fair they should've worked on the backlog first before switching resources to EE. Based on someone's notes here we our files have a deadline of Jan - Feb 2016 depending on when applied...

13 months should be from the time application is received. Is this speculation ever going to end? They can drag us forever or finish backlog next month. Nobody knows. Or you can ask Amisnic - it seems that he knows way better :)

I think we can change the 255+ for medicals as we are obviously not getting it in June. It kinda hurts to see it everytime :)

Winterfox, this is not 100% correct. You don't have to have a job in order to get a BOWP - if you are on PGWP which is about to expire in less than three months and you have applied for PR - you can get your BOWP and I don't think whether you currently have a job or not matters in this case.

I doubt that - he is not referring to BOWP in particular but talking about 4 years in general and how it is enough to put something together in terms of PR so if it says PR in process are exempt - than it is exempt. This release never said otherwise, so you should stop panicking?

As far as I know you cannot be in Canada continuously for the period more than 4 years as a temporary worker. Logically - WPs should not be issues once you are past 4 year mark. This rule has been around for a while.

I don't understand why are you guys getting confused when it clearly says "if you have submitted - then disregard" How more straightforward it could be?
