Doing the medical upfront is a great idea. I hope you can forward this and the police clearance certificate together with your application. This i believe saves so much time.

???! i had not thought of this initially. I have already send in my application and was hoping to take up my husband's name. This therefore means that it will take a while for me to change my dad's name to his name? :(

They also go through the medical examination but only urinalysis. They are exempted from blood tests and X- Ray. our 5 yr old underwent this. i guess they fall in the same age bracket. All the best!

There are some people who do medicals much earlier before they fill the application forms. Please the earlier you submit the application the better. with the medical form in your hands and the police clearance certificate, mail the package immediately. ;) All the best!

I am so sorry to hear about your story. It is so sad. Please report him to CIC immediately. That is so inhuman! He thinks he used you to get to Canada but he will surely pay for his actions. I hope justice can be served. please do not even waste one day.... REPORT HIM!
