How do you know that it was May 17th? I used the forms issued before May 17th. Actually, I signed that on May 16th, I hope it will not be a problem? The application was with courier from May 17 untill May 21, when they shipped it to CIC from Calgary.

Both, the main applicant and his/her spouse should fill out the Background Declaration - Schedule A form. You have to sign yours, she has to sign her form. It doesn't matter if she is in some other country. She can fill the form and send it to you by courier. That's what my wife did.

Yes, when they would look on our applications on that way it might be beneficial for some of us maybe :) But points system is fair and I believe it's working fine for everybody. ;) Some of us have better language points, some other guys have more experience, others may have great education...

There is no screening of best candidates. Not even allowed by FSWC operation procedure. ;) For FSWC 1 and 2, it's the points based system with selection factors. Either you qualify or you don't. When they take 300 complete applications than they do the assessment of those 300 applications...
