Canadian Master's. FSW. Need ECA for non-Canadian Bachelor's?

I have got Max point. I have also received ITA. Now I am hearing that because we claimed points for 2 or more degrees under Skills transferability we will need ECA for all degrees. This is getting very frustrating. Every time you think you are closer to resolving one issue, another one pops up.

Canadian Master's. FSW. Need ECA for non-Canadian Bachelor's?

The more we try to solve the EE mystery, the deeper it gets. I have a Canadian master's degree and a non-Canadian Bachelor's degree. Do I still need ECA for the Bachelor's?

CIC should revise this express entry system

I can imagine. But I am sure you will get. You have good score. Relax. There will definitely be a CEC specific draw at some point.

CIC should revise this express entry system

Itainttrue - you have been in Canada for 16 years and do not have a PR?

Is it ok to change in work history after i get to document check list ?

I have a similar question. I am still completing the first section of PR application. My question is, can we go back and edit the profile again after reaching the document checklist section. To your question, I guess it should be okay, till everything matches with the EE profile you created...

6th draw done, ITAs 1637 and cut off score 453

@ olivia - do not think that should matter. Time stamp is at 11:59. Who ever had an eligible profile above 453 even 5 mins before should get it. Editing should not be a problem

    478. Dint get anything yet. Eligible fsw. Hope it wasn't a CEC only.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

I think this could be the reason. If you check, to qualify for FSW; you need to score 67/100 points, right? 10 points are for arranged employment. If you read what falls under arrangement employment, there is a row which says that those who are in Canada, have an LMIA exempt work permit and...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

But the question is not do you have a valid job offer. The question is do you have a job offer. If the question was for valid job offer why will it open another question - Is it supported by lmia? Isn't that same question. If you answer no to job offer and you have one isn't that...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

My suggestion to people who want to avoid fsw try: a) Keeping the answer to 'do u have job' - yes and 'supported by lmia' - No and change funds to less than minimum - my guess u wnt be eligible for fsw b) Change the answer to 'do u have job' - no and 'supported by lmia' - No and change funds...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

I am not convinced by that link. It could mean saying No to the lmia question. Also it does not say that if you say yes you will qualify for FSW. How did you come to that conclusion? This CIC is so confusing with its answers. Tomorrow they might say you are working in Canada, you had a job...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

I think you guys are mixing two things. How can answer to a question about job offer in Canada be a criteria to fall under fsw. Does not make sense. To qualify under FSW u should a) Have 1 year of continuous full time work b) Get ECA c) have minimum funds. Answer me one thing - if you...

i feel, in the next draw cut off score will be around 500-520...agree or not?

The number of ITA's is equal to the count under FSW, FST or CEC. Any dependent will come under spousal/family PR. Please understand that when CIC says the target is 150,000 under skilled immigration (FSW, FST or CEC) it means anyone who gets PR under this program has to qualify for it which is...

    Ineligible Express Entry

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I have different NOC codes for jobs in India and Canada. For the one in Canada I have not completed one year. I will be completing one year in May and hence will be eligible for CEC in May. But I gave the Canadian job NOC code as the primary NOC code. Do you think that...

Diana, How were you able to edit the information once it showed ineligible? My profile just showed ineligible. Not sure what to do next.

calling out to people who are eligible for both PNP and EE

Which is quite quick, because ontario does not do processing in dec and jan, so that period cannot be counted. its a black out period and their site says should not be counted in the 3 month processing time. My passport expires in Oct 2016 and their website says it should be valid for 2 years...

calling out to people who are eligible for both PNP and EE

If you have ontario PNP, go ahead and apply for PR under normal process. Ontario has not yet declared their EE PNP. No one knows how much time, they will take, maybe a couple of months. Then you apply for EE PNP, it may take another couple of months to get that. Then you will get ITA, submit...
