Guys, what else is required apart from a reference letter from a previous employer outside Canada? I can contact my previous employer to get me a reference letter but I can't get pay stubs as this isn't used in my country of origin. Will a reference letter be enough?

I used my last 4 digit of my passport when I was opening my job bank account. PNP requires us to provide job seeker validation code, are we going to give them the last 4 digits as well?

I am successfully in the pool for express entry with a low score. Registered on job bank as well. I got the PDF message congratulating me for being in the pool but the job seeker validation code is missing. Do you think i did something wrong? What could be the reason for this problem? :-X

I've not received the letter yet but CIC agent confirmed to me that the CAP was reached Oct 20th.

It is true the CAP is reached :'( The CIC agent i spoke to today said there's an internal memo that the CAP was reached Oct 20th, 2014. I didn't believe the story until i called to confirm myself. Get your Express Entry profile ready folks. Goodluck to everyone!

Do they consider anyone working as a contractor or consultant under Post Graduate work permit? I have a job approval letter from my previous job. Couldn't use it because i haven't completed the 1 year work experience. Can i still use it as i am now working as a consultant with another company...

I will believe this rumor of CAP reached as soon as any November 2014 applicant gets his or her file back or CIC's announcement that the CAP is reached.

I still believe the CAP is not reached. Trust me guys. The guys posting emails about their application being returned seems fake and can't authenticate their claims.

Did you see the job seeker validation code and express entry profile number on the same pdf letter that was sent to you? Or they came separately?

I agree with Ivan.Galv, I will suggest we all have some little patience. Everyone is tensed, i know. Why not wait till next week Monday for an official announcement from CIC that the CAP is reached. These guys aren't fools or don't have human feelings. I believe they will send out a press...
