It is mentioned in the email you received from CPP-O. As indicated in the email a new file will be created and a new file number has to be assigned to your application. I believe that this process do require a proper review by some supervisor or administrative staff. It should not take long...

There is only one post by JATTINCANADA back in August (see above) JATT_GOING_CANADA was more active. His information is updated in the spreadsheet within applications which have status as 'COMPLETE'

JATT_GOING_CANADA got the visa. Not sure about JATTINCANADA. Others have not provided new information/updates on their applications..

Only reason for CIC to close the file is due to abandonment i.e. not submitting the requested documents within 120 days of request. However, from information in the spreadsheet, it seems, you have submitted all the documents. Did you ever order GCMS notes? Check if all the requested PCC's...

Seems like your sponsorship application is being processed. You should hear about the decision on sponsorship part of the application, if all documents are as per requirements. Hopefully it will be soon.
