Have you tried calling the embassy in Cairo? Will they take the passports without RFV email? What things you will attached to the passports? Photos only?

One question, if you provide a return receipt from fedex, will cic send the passports outside North America?

That is what I am hoping for, not to exceed 1 week because I found earlier posts talking about 1 montu between DM and PPR. And when I called CIC, the guy said it could be 1 day or 3 month !!! As civilengr said, I am trying to keep calm, and have nothing to do execpt refreshing the email.

How did you know by phone that PPR is sent to you?

lyn4pow, Did you get your PPR? I have DM since May 30 without any PPR yet. My officer is AW5180.

I called them yesterday, the guy told me I cannot give you any update, the email can come after 1 day or after 3 months. Each application is different application! 4 days since I saw DM.

That is what I am hoping. Maybe a system slowdown or something. Did you try calling them. Do they tell you what DM is exactly? Or they will keep saying it is still in process!

lyn4pow ... I have exactly the same situation. Officer AW just updated my Ecas today (May 30) to DM without PPR ... !!! Hopefully PPR will follow. There might be a glitch in the system causing the delay in the emails or AW just changed his/ppr style. All we need is to just keep the positive...
