That's a generic email (just a BS -excuse my french-), i believe i'm still in a waiting list for a hearing let's hope they will schedule us soon.

Just got this from CIC: "Our records indicate that your application was received at St. Clair IRCC on 2016/06/20. Your file is presently in residency queue awaiting residence assessment. Once the assessment is conducted notification will be mailed to you by the local CIC." Thanks,

So you applied under the old rules that didn't have this: "Applicants must have the intention to reside in Canada if granted citizenship" if I were you I will give it try if you realy want to have canada as you home.
