Cheer up, those who haven't had your first stage approval. You will be there soon. Waiting is soooooo borning. Start to worry about the interview. Really don't want it. Although our relationship is genuine, I can't remember all the details. Can't help recalling what I wrote in the forms. At some...

    Question about previous residence

You can attach a separate sheet of paper to explain the situation BUT do not lie about it. You were a kid, you couldn't do bad things ;D. There's nothing to be worried about. Just give the information and you will be OK.

Congratulations to those who have their sponsorship approvals recently. bscinto92 if you can, try to call CIC. I think you have your first stage done. When we were waiting for the first stage, there was no "medical received". It popped up when we had the sponsorship approval. I really...

What does "medical results have been received" mean? Does that mean VO has started to work on our application? I think this is only a second stage thing not for the first stage. Really don't know what's going on here. Hope those who haven't had their first stage approval will have good news...

IMM5562E Supplementary Information Your Travels, wifey forgot dates she traveled

If she travelled out of the country, did she have some visa stamps on her passport that show the exact time when she left and entered the country? I guess as long as you leave the country, that counts as travelling.

    Where to mail forms?

That depends. If you apply through outland, then mail to Mississauga; if inland, mail to Vegreville. Hope that helps.

    TOEFL vs IELTS

I took IELTS a few years ago. Comparing with TOEFL, I think IELTS is easier. TOEFL is more like for entering college and it is more academic, while IELTS is for testing your English proficiency to see if you can survive in an English speaking country (of course, also used for academic purposes)...

Quite a few questions, medical, relationship proof, finger prints, etc.

I don't know. In my case, I waited for the FBI clearance for more than a month and sent it with my application. Later, when I found this forum, I read many people mailed their application without the police certificate. I regreted that I should have done that to save me a month and get in the...

Quite a few questions, medical, relationship proof, finger prints, etc.

Sure, you can do that. Then, submit the police certificate upon CIC request or until you have the file number. Many people do it that way.
