Hello Linda, We got the same request in april and my wife re-did her medical on april 30th we are also coming up on 14 months next week. Ours expired last november they are only valid for 1 year but some get an extension.

My wife is like you she only flew once and that was for our honeymoon....so i will have to go get her. She is afraid and almost no english. So maybe we make a trip out of it to vienna and might be fun to do it together and get closure hahahaha zbogom bec

2-3 days each way. Once your visa is ready they let you know to coordinate with dhl/fedex to come pick it up. Maybe 10-14 days

Yeah but it will take couple weeks to get your visa. This way you get it in 1-2 days :)
