So what comes next after sponsor approval? (besides hurry up and wait!!) We received SA a little over a month ago. Am I supposed to get an AOR email from Ottawa? Now that sponsor approval is done, do I still check my application status at ECAS using "sponsorship"?

I did the same exact thing!!! :-[ I was able to get my old internet provider to turn on the webmail access portion of my old internet service but it was only temporary and they weren't sure how long it would stay on. They also said I could transfer my email address to any other person I knew...

Brain dead move... I cancelled the internet provider for the email addresses (sponsor and applicant) on my PR application I just submitted! :-[ Obviously want to change the contact email address(es) ASAP. I'm obviously not going to get any AOR with file number or client ID or whatever by email...

Alright... hurry up and wait it is! I looked on the CIC website and followed the link for "check your app status". I picked PR outside Canada and the next page made me choose a category to which none applied to me. Where is the correct place to check?
