    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Hey guys, I have a question. I am wondering for those who already got AOR post-C6, has anyone used PR card as the only ID, in particular those who just needs one ID according to the guide? I am the one who sent application with passport + PR card, and it seems someone else has got application...

As title, I am wondering for those who already got AOR post-C6, has anyone used PR card as the only ID, in particular those who just needs one ID according to the guide? I am the one who sent application with passport + PR card, and it seems someone else has got application returned due to this...

    PHOTOS

I used the pay system three weeks ago so I don't have an answer. I would guess it should be working as no one is asking this type of questions anymore?

    PHOTOS

I am jumping into this thread with a slightly different question. I took my photo three weeks ago at Costco and sent my application last week. While I knew that the size of the photo has to be 50 mm by 70 mm, I didn't actually measure it. What happened when I went to Costco is that the employee...

    Personal identification

The new requirement indicates that other than passport photocopies one just need one or up to two IDs. In their application. However, I've noticed that most people use driver's license or health card. Some will add PR card as a third ID. Myself just used PR card as one piece of ID, should be OK?

C-6 Citizenship Applications, Frequently Asked Questions

What you said makes sense to me as well, however I believe either way they shouldn't return the application since the instruction is very clear.

C-6 Citizenship Applications, Frequently Asked Questions

Hi spyfy, I would disagree with your answer to question 6. In the instruction guide, it says "We need to know all the names you have ever used in your life, so we can verify your identity. If you used any other names other than the one being requested in your grant of citizenship application...

Well, for me what I had is: 1. Photos (In an envelope – written my full name on the back of photos - no UCI since they didn't ask) 2. Application – CIT 002 (signed and dated) 3. Physical presence calculator (signed and dated) 4. Photocopies of valid and expired passports (biographical...

For all those who sent their applications today oct 11 2017 what mistakes did you make?

Thank god that I saw this - went to UPS right away and got the envelope back, fixed the sheet with this problem, checked again and gave it to UPS. Even I have checked 4-5 times before sending it, I still overlooked this. Fortunately it is not too late...

    about CIT0002E question 9(b)

When filling out the new form, question 9(b) asks about pre-PR status. If answered "YES", we have to finish the chart attached. The question I have is about the date the status was obtained/effective in the chart. In the presence calculator, I have entered the status I had up to 2012/10/11 when...

    Changes on Oct 11, 2017 - Executive summary/FAQ C-6

I am having a question for question 6, it states that "List any other names used including name at birth, maiden name, previous married name(s), aliases and nicknames." My name on PR/CoPR/passport have always been the same, so question 4 and 5 are simple. However, since my first name is not...

    Question 3C on CIT0002 form

If anyone is seeing my question I would appreciate that you give me some of your insight. The question I am asking is now in Question 6 of the new form. Do I include my nickname in the form and if so, do I put N/A in family name and only the nickname (e.g. Peter) in the Given name column? Thank...

Hi all, I have a question about the photocopies of passport. I am preparing my application for citizenship and now I come across one question. For one of the ID I will use driver's license. leaving Canada temporarily after citizenship application

Does that mean the best to do is then to apply once I return from my temporary work? As far as I know RQ is gonna be a very uncertain factor in the length of process, so one should try to avoid it. Can anyone else share their own experience on this if they were in a similar situation?
