50-50 chance for both PER and NER. Encashment of BD denotes that all our documents are complete as per CIO & Visa Office instruction. PER/NER depends upon whether NOC categorty we are claiming for is matching CIC job description or not. There may be other factors also.

My encashment of BD was on 3rd May wheras I had submitted application on 15th April. So i guess because of election and all they delayed it.

Don't know Amone. I didn't write NOC 6242 over envelope. I just mentioned 0631. Not sure if they opened and checked the document inside. I don't think, in case of exhausting the cap, officer will bother to open the document and check the next available NOC. Perhaps they'll return whole document...

Yea, thats not good of them. I found SBI the best.....I never expected them to be so helpful but they were very quick to reply. I just send them an email and very next day got reply.

You should contact your local bank and ask for their partner bank in Canada. The partner bank in Canada will be able to tell you whether your BD is encashed or not.
