thanks. I think they are releasing more nominations. In a span of 1 week, 4 nominations were received in my workplace.

Finally my wait is over!!!! Received my nomination...Thank you guys!!! My timeline: Application Received: Nov. 25 File number: January 5 Ainp verification call: May 15 Date of Nomination: May 15 Nomination received: may 28 Employer driven-skilled worker category NOC 6212 (in nomination 6311)

They sent their application Dec 7.... im so nervous... My room mate just informed me I have a big letter coming from AINP... Hope its positive....

NOC 6212 ( food supervisor). Empoyer driven skilled worker category. same with me but the difference they have higher salary...i know we cant speculate if thats the reason. Ainp didnt even called them.

To add, i applied 2 weeks earlier than them but they already have nominations dated may 5.

We should be postive... It was posted in Ainp website (disclaimer) that they are no longer processing applications in first come first serve basis. They are assessing applications base on quality of applicants ( experience/noc). And i think thats what is happenning now.... Coz 3 of my coworkers...

Hope next week we will all get our nominations...the waiting is the hardest part....

one co-worker got her nomination today. Same timeline with me, Nov. 25. She did not receive any verification call...

My boss nominated 10 employees, 7 skilled, 2 international graduates and 1 semi-skilled and until now nobody got nomination. I have 2 co-workers who applied under AWE early November and both of them got their nomination end of December. All of us are so stressed because expiry of work permits...

I don't know anybody from October but my co worker applied on Nov. 10, got her nomination end of December under AWE

That would be closed work permit so same employer. Just job offer from employer will do.

Just make sure you do not stay in canada illegally by extending your stay without proper permit. I have coworker who is also in your position applied visitors visa. He knows that he has slim chance of being approved but he still filed through paper application because pricessing time is 55 days...

do you have an lmo when you applied for extension? I can't see your NOC is included in the moratorium. I tried to call AINP on this matter and the agent told me that if I am nominated on Skilled Category, the nomination will still be processed even if work permit is expired, we'll just have to...

She did not ask for the manager. So i guess they will ask anybody who answers the phone...its an edmonton number...my co- worker just told me after the call that it was from ainp asking if i work there...soon after she called me on my cellphone and my employer...
