Do you want to declare separeted or common law partner on your LCP application? If separeted, you dont have to provide CIC w/ any papers at this time however, before applying for OWP and PR, make sure all your papers are ready.( separation agreement and affidavit from your ex husband or divorce...

Hi poknat I think CIC needs further assessment because of changes of your marital status. Ive heared of it from the lawyer who works at domestic workers association in Vancouver that changes of marital status from the application under LCP could cause the application for OWP and PR to delay...

Your not alone. Many of ppl in this forum are jobless so am i. Lets keep praying on our applications.

Hopefully not there will be another waiting time from May applicants w/dependants coz most of their dependants havent received LC2 kit yet. We will see whats happening to them and we should talk about it to Don Davies on thursday meeting.
