@ooao , just to confirm, did you do your medical today?

I think it depends on which class you applied under. For spousal it's roughly 2-3 weeks.

They applied August 10th and got the email today.

And what's happened for @ooao should make all of us, particularly August September, apps get prepared with our schedule A forms, etc, so they are ready to go along with medical right away.

I believe we as August apps will hear soon. I hope. We too have had no re medical request, ours expired at the end of May.

@ooao applied on August 10th 2016 and got their re medical request on August 8th this past week.

You can try for it. You're allowed to apply, it's just you really need to try and convince them the principal applicant won't stay in Canada and will return to their home country. They are difficult visas to get especially when you're in the pr process. Difficult but not impossible.

Will do, although I'm not hopeful they'll reply because she sent a CSE over two months ago and they never responded. :( What day did you get sponsor approval/ your app was transferred to Accra?
