No, we were told by a lawyer that we couldn't apply without the police certificate so we waited 4 months for that to come in and then had to update all the forms. The irony being that CIC lost that police certificate anyway so we had to get a new one lol. We were also told (I think incorrectly)...

March 22. It doesn't sound like forever but we actually completed the application in March 2015 and were given a series of false information which resulted in not submitting till March 2016 :(

Oh I missed what happened, last time I was here you were waiting for the first set of notes. Do you not receive them in 30 days when you request? Mine have always come in on time, but it's really annoying they get generated the day you make the request but don't get sent out until a month later...

I love how their emails say you have 60 days to respond to their request and if you don't then they can terminate your application. But they have no way to trace whether they even sent you a request for the information, but it's still your fault that you don't receive it. What a system!
