hi, does any body here knows how to speed up the process of permanent resident card? my family and i are travelling this dec. 16, and I landed last October 28. I am hoping to get my pr card before I go home.

Hi everyone, I landed already last Oct. 28, at 10 am. Only few people were there and so far, it was very smooth. Interviewer just asked me if i have committed a crime, thats it.. no other questions.. Thanks to everyone who guided me here. Now waiting for PR card.:)

in my appointment letter it was said that i am scheduled for an interview and to receive my confirmation of permanent resident? what does this mean?

Just called the call center to see if i have a landing date already.. then the lady said vancouver sent out an invitation letter last oct. 11 and my landing date is oct. 29.. Yippeee! So happy to hear the good news.. :))) any suggestions what to prepare and bring during the appointment?

Oh thats why, I have not gotten my GCMS notes yet, no haven't heard from them yet. They are pretty slow right now, but I think they are catching up. Hopefully we can land very soon. I will let you know if there are updates with mine then. please let me know too. thanks

Hi I am wondering how you knew about your COPR's expiration? I got DM last April 9, but my passport expired last july so my COPR expired as well (according to the agent I was talking to) they gave me another DM last Aug7. I am landing in Vancouver too. Please let me know.

It just saddens me that time was wasted and I can do nothing about it. I really hope too.

Owh alright, the way i understand caps and bold, it's urgent. my concern now is i dont want to waste my wait from April to August for my first confirmation of PR that has expired and start waiting again from yesterday to another 6 months. It's very frustrating, it's like i am given false hopes.

Ohw I forgot to mention, on my second DM letter, VANCOUVER was bold and all caps.. the previous one is not. why do you think?
