Hey Skg1989 it mostly depends on when you applied. it takes roughly 5 months to get the answer. If you are not sure about timing you might want to think about requesting implied status BEFORE your work permit expires (it will give you at least 8 more weeks).

Hi hope to hear something new in the next 5-7 days... my consultant told me a couple of her clients have received mails exactly 5 months and 1 day after the application day.

So basically if the PR is not ready yet when the current WP is about to expire all you need to do is going to the border to renew?

Hi, I think we need to wait at least 3 more weeks (being really really optimistic). They are now sending letters to ppl who applied around April 10th. with FN around 19xx. I'm 23xx and so do you (I think). Check the April thread to get updated info! Good Luck! P.S. They'll notify to the new address

Ouch! ON April 10th Make2014 was around 18xx; I'm april 30th and my number is 23xx... 500 applications in less then 3 weeks? I'm really worried how much it's going to take to review 500 applications... I think a little more than 3 weeks :o :o Applied April 30th Ack June 3rd

At least they started with April's requests.. mine is April 30th so best case scenario I'll know something around October 4th...

Did you ever think about going through the implied status process? It'll give you 8 more weeks you can keep working while waiting for the papers...(google implied status...I cannot post links..) Hope it might help!

Hi guys, just an heads-up received from my consultant yesterday. One of her clients has received his acceptance letter yesterday on an application sent on March 28th. So April should be just around the corner... :D Fingers crossed for everyone!
