almost 6 months for me...2 weeks away from it being a year since the app was received, has anyone had any luck trying to contact the LA VO for these applications? i've only received an email saying that my application was in line to be processed, but no details

i got a message saying my file was transferred to LA in May, and haven't heard anything since then either, and FYI i am a december applicant

still waiting to hear back from LA office since it was transferred there in March, any one else have experience with this?

i sent them an email and the automated response i got was just saying that if it's still within normal processing times, they will not answer my email...this is starting to take a lot longer than i thought

any updates from anyone yet? still waiting...my app was transferred, ECAS says they began processing May31st and still nothing, December will be a year after i sent in my application, hoping it gets sorted out soon

Yes, initially the app will be processed in Mississauga, and it seems like if they have any concerns/issues, they'll send it to LA. Nothing to worry about, especially if you've done what you can to explain everything.

I think so too, i was hoping to get DM made mid-May like other people who applied in December, but there's been no movement since my app was forwareded to LA. Letter was sent to me for the file transfer May 26th, and ECAS updated saying "We started processing your application on May 31st" I...

for what it's worth, my app was also sent to LA VO, and i thought mine was straight forward, December applicant, still havent heard anything from LA, and the last note on ECAS was in March for Medicals Passed

not really red flags, i think maybe we didn't have any money transfers or pictures from the wedding. we got married in a park with just us and the officiant, and we're having the formal ceremony next month, which was all explained in our application and letters from friends/family. We did...
