Bro.. your medicals will expire after an year well you can plan to resign accordingly . One of my colleague resigned thinking that it'll be done soon but unfortunately he had to wait without job for one year.... so think wise before you could resign unless your employer wanna take you back again.

I guess you have one year time to go to Quebec since you get visa ... so you just need two months notice to get out right ?

I suggest until you get your visa to hand don't resign ....

According to my knowledge, you Applied for Quebec PR and you must land in Quebec and complete the pending PR procedure. Once that is done then you can go to any part of Canada.
