You can ask them to process your file in sydney.... but they will probably transfer your file to ND, India.... Mine was somewhat similar... I am permanent Aussie resident living here from last 7 years.. but Sydney sent my file back to India.......may I ask you what is your visa status in australia??

So relaxed after reading ur comments... I was just like a chill pill....Its just ND is bu****ing.. I dun trust wht they say... Cuz file was sent from Sydney to ND to 13 May 2011... so I assume by now it should have reached them... its just they havent bothered checking my query properly...

@ Fprince: Thanks I got ur point... but wht i wanted to clear was that my file was transferred to Sydney,Australia Office. Sydney kept my file for one month(allocated me file number and client ID meanwhile which was in AOR letter).... after one month when Visa Officer opened my file to do...

I was just reading previous letter from Sydney VO. It states that my file has been transferred to ND already... So do they send it to Ottawa first and then to ND?? Just confused how system works.... I have told my wife to go see her MP.. :(

If I get my visa before 27Aug.... I am definitely flying wid my wife if I get ticket in same airlines (I am not gonna worry abt dollars)....but if I dont get in same airlines.... Then I m gonna consider to wait for prices to lower down.....still depends on situation that moment!
