How many times can we extend Open Work Permit using AOR? My OWP is expiring in March and I am a Sept 2015 PNP-PR applicant. I just want to extend my OWP in case there would be delays on the processing of PR. I have already applied for an OWP and i got one year and this is expiring in March 2016.

My background changed today to In Progress. I guess CIC is also working on the weekends. Im still counting on to what the officer told me back in October that I should have a decision by Nov. 30. Fingers Crossed

I am not an expert and lets wait for what others have to say. If there is a question there that asks you if you have been denied a visa somewhere then declare it as if when they do a security and background check CIC will come to know about it too.

Honesty is the best policy. You should fill up forms and go through bureaucracy with all honesty. Please keep in mind that hiding those information wont either help u in the long run. If officer comes to know that you hid something on the application, they will charge you with MISREPRESENTATION...

I think you are right. I do not trust online updates too. On my CIC account everything is still showing IN PROGRESS including my medicals but in my GCMS everything is passed and due date is Nov.30 which is the same exact date the agent gave me over the phone! Hoping for the best

So I just got off the phone with CIC and I spoke to a very helpful agent. He told me that there is no problems with my medicals but they will be doing a decision on my medicals, and background check all at the same time. The officer gave me a deadline til November 30 and he told me that by that...
