    Eligibility is the first step Then after the initial verification is done they’ll send your file to your LVO and only then such verifications are performed . So they can do it or not it’s not compulsory It usually depends on the recommendation from The CIO .

    Eligibility passed = eligibility done If it’s not passed , rejection happens immediately So in order for your background check to start , you have to be eligible. So everything’s quite fine for now

    We can’t really know the percentage since not all are sharing . As for those which ppr is still pending , we do have similar timelines as yours . I personally ordered GMCS notes three weeks back and called CIC too . Did it trigger profile update or not , can’t tell you but at least you should...
