Hi all... I'm trying to change conditions on open work permit ( working in healthcare services etc...). Made medicals and called CIC. The agent told me that i cant apply at the border ( to flagpole ) for a new wp bcz im not from a visa exempt country. Should be this true ?!

Called Cic today; The agent told me that if we are from a country which need visa, we cant apply for changing conditions at the border ( even if we have medicals).

So, u think to try in March? At the moment we go to the border, what documents would we need to have with us ? Thank you.

It happend the same to me. ( for other reason ). How do they calculate the processing time ????? Is it ( the 16 months ) from the new application or is there any chance to calculate the time of the returned application too? Thnx...

Can officer make change writing about kind of duties or sth similar? That medical will need weeks and may be that job is not more available. We live in small town.

No. Is it neccesary? Should it be from certain country to do that? CIC website say only certain countries need it. Also the job she pretend to do is simple ( housekeeping ), is not sth proffesional.
