I have been filing since June and I had my application in since June. but I did my medical in Jan of 2012. And it's getting very close and normally the embassy takes 10 months total but they were on strike. Should I wait for a letter from them or redo the medical?

Paris is sure taking forever to do anything at all really. June 14th sent. It's normally 30 days + 10 months is what it showed before. Now shows 9 months. Do I have to redo the medical or any of the documents?

Do they only update the website for our tracking for the PR only on Thursdays? I've read that some place. Is it morning or night time or so?

Nice I am using Paris Embassy! I sent it 5 days before she did.

Wife emailed last week some time asking the Paris Embassy why there are no updates so this will delay it? That sucks.

Yeah I checked, only that they got it and my medical and nothing else. It's Paris Embassy.

I was thinking India would have to wait longer then Europeans no? It seems like the more immigrating from one country the longer the process would take no? Strange. But congrads! :)

Online, then you have to print, it comes with your name and some kind of a bar code showing that it was paid make sure you print it, because you have to send that in also. there are 2 to print I believe. I can't remember did this way back in January. Oh you also have to sign it.

To avoid asking you later down the road just pay it all ahead of time. I did, it will avoid a few weeks or months delay.

At first it said they got it, then I got an email saying they transferred it to the VO, so I went to go look and it said they had my medical. But still no word from the VO. I think the strike is what's doing it?

For what Embassy? I am using the one in Paris that is on strike I guess. I've seen people from May also getting their passport requested within India!
