I was just reading through CIC website and saw this link that the government is addressing spousal backlogs and wait times. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2016-06-13.asp Hopefully this extends to AVO because they are rather slow with everything and extremely backed-up.

Congrats and God is indeed a faithful God! It's been a week since they received my additional proof and we are just waiting for good news.

There were no specification in the email they sent me. I sent a box full of additional document and it cost me $349 to express ship from here. I called FedEx express and they said they have left detailed instructions at the visa office of where it can be picked up.

I sent it via FedEx Express. Is that an issue? I called today and they said they attempted delivery and they were unreachable. They said the address where the parcel can be picked up was left at the Visa Office .

Hey, I sent off my required additional documents and when it was meant to be delivered today. I went to track it now and it says "Attempted delivery. Notice card left indicating where item can be picked up". Do I have to call AVO or reach out to them in anyway? I am very worried at this point...

They requested for proof of genuine relationship. I had to send proof of all communications between us, bank statements, letters from our pastors and more pictures than we initially sent. Do you know how long it will take them to respond to us after receiving the information?
