So he just emailed them telling them he paid and to his surprise, they emailed him back within a week or two saying that his payment has been confirmed. Hope it helps.

Same thing happened to my colleague. (But his case is in LVO). He said he emailed the receipt and told them he paid and they said it's cleared.
