i am not sure about what kind of permit is it. however, i know for sure, if you have your visa on old passport and you get a new one just to have an extended expiration date for the passport, you would have to take both passports when you travel. i hope it partially answers your question.

Thank you for replying tonero, actually mine got approved on 16th january 2016 but it got approved until 24 march 2016. i haven't received the physical permit in the mail box yet. but soon as i get it, i'd have to reapply on paper.
