Agree. I know 3 people, 2 had student visas the other had a PGWP (not my common law partner) and all three of them were able to apply for TRV from within Canada in order to keep them having a legal status here

So far, i've only seen poilot program OWP's issued for 2013's who have yet to get AIP... but it seems to be going fast..so maybe 2014 OWPs are around the corner.

I think that everyone on here should be feeling in a pretty good mood (unless you got bad news from the CIC). We've seen a couple DM's .... the OWP's seem to be flying out there due to the pilot program... Maybe i'm just really pessimistic..but i cant help but think that once they've issued...

Since my sept date is AFTER the Aug 28th processing date shown on the website, i have a feeling that they will not have my OWP in their system yet... similar to your situation. i'll call anyways

Actually, now that i think about it, her medicals were done about 4 months before we applied, so they have FOR SURE expired by now... BUT..i'm guessing that we wont have to redo them because if they wanted fresh medicals done, they would have requested them when they were going through the apps...

Yeah i'll call again and try to get through..its so difficult sometimes..maybe tomorrow early in the morning since i'm on the west coast and they go by east coast office hours. I'm going to try to stay positive by thinking that the reason why they haven't contacted us is because they were happy...

Oh crap... now i'm a little bit worried. The 5 people on the spreadsheet that were before me (sept 12-17) and the two people after me sept 18th and sept 19 all received something from CIC ... requesting info - proof of relationship etc.. i have received nothing! i hope they didnt lose my file...

I hope we both get AIP's the same day. If we get AIP or SP i will for sure post it in here the same day..just so everyone can get a little bit of hope.

I'm confused as to who qualifies as "certain" in regards to the CIC's statement regarding the pilot program... We submit our PR app along with the OWP app.... would my partner qualify?? she doesnt have anything right now, no pgwp, no status in canada except for implied since she sent in the OWP...

I submit mine along with the PR app, but i'm pretty sure you can do this. I know other people on here sent in the OWP app months after they submit their PR application. They just included instructions "please attach to my PR application 'insert APP # " and also include a copy of your AOR email...
