well email reply took around 53 days stating what Jet mentioned already, phonecalls would result in a dead end, you cannot get passed the operator whom has no answers to any of your questions (damascus), calling the CIC call center in canada would not help either, their operator would ask you...

thank you all for posting your info, we are all on the same boat, I can't help shake that feeling that something is definitely wrong after calculating all your wait times for your medicals, if any of you attempted to contact the embassy rather by phone or emails, please share that info and lets...

i got a question to everyone, if any of you placed a call to the embassy in the passed, have you ever got passed the operator ? if none was able to do that then why is it that worldwide ppl can get help from the right employee concerned with your questions but not in our region ?

Also during the interview there will be a part where the interviewer will try to pull your string to make you angry just to assess your reaction, it could be any topic related to you that which you might be sensitive about, remember to stay calm and do not argue, do not show any hearty or steamy...

It is clear that we are not, once i reach 22 months with no news i will definitely ask for Application Status, everyone is entitled for that request if the time specified on the CIC time table is exceeded

18 months , nothing, i shared part of an email in an earlier post, maybe you should take a look at it

I would like to say congratulations!! and hopefully it wont take more than 20 months like ppl at my stage so all i can say to you for your next waiting phase try to forget you applied for the next year and half so it can pass by smoother. regards

Hi Akram, what m referring to is the Federal process after you receive your AOR including your barcode application number and not the CSQ which is a previous step, those that are awaiting their medicals are the ones in topic for processes before January 2010 only. best regards,

Just got off the phone with the embassy in Damascus and got a confirmation that the embassy is still functional, so everyone no need to panic they are being super slow and your applications are still being processed or on waiting list, as posted earlier "they are now processing applications...
