I have only become aware of these steep processing times as of this morning. If it takes four months to process the FBI check in the USA, and then it takes upwards of six months to have our DM on our PR application, that means it will be (if all goes well) a year before my wife and I can live in...

Thank you for your help. We will try and identify her UCI number so it can be used for this PR application. Her VR was confiscated at the border on her exit date (once it expired) -- which I think is procedure, so we don't have access to that.
