@eGrace, quick question for you, where did you get your degree? I emailed BIQ-Mexico and asked if my case qualified for priority processing and the replied saying - No. Because my degree was not issued in Canada. I emailed them back and explained that my degree is in fact equivalent to a...

Thanks eGrace for your clarification, I submitted my paper work to the Mexico BIQ on August 2, 2011, it arrived a day later August 3. Here's hoping that my case will be expedited! I checked the 2009 preferred areas of training again and you are correct, Civil Engineering Technologists with a...

    decision made

Are the dates that you list on your post correct? They read 2010, if so your decision was made over a year ago and you should have a letter by now. I will assume that the correct dates are for 2011.

I'm a little unsettled by your statement "Always get your facts right before posting to avoid confusing others that may be reading." buddy. I admit that I might have been wrong about the work experience advice I gave Montreal. However, I find it more troublesome to read how you authoritatively...

Montreal, I really wish you the best! When you prepare your cover letter be careful and state the facts that will help support your claims, specially in regards to the work experience. Again, I don't have alot of experience in this part and what I related was my unsubstantiated opinion. In...

Don't take this the wrong way. I don't have anything to backup this claim, but if you are trying to use your Pharmaceutical degree as leverage to immigrate to Quebec under an area that enjoys certain preferences or privileges you should at least consider having acquired relevant experience in...

One slight correction, in you original post you indicated that you received the following points for education and area of training: 10/12.
