Was issuing a LMIA required at that time? I had a similar experience in 2013, where I was required to get LMIA (LMO at that time) and on the border I got a work permit. Please inspect your documents and select the most suitable option. Hope I could help. Best of luck!

Showing your job duties is crucial to your application. You have to find a way to show this in your application. May be using your supervisor or team leader to assure your experience is a good idea. You have to mention his position and contact information. Best of luck!

You have to try to convince the officer that you are really working there and you do your job duties based on a full time employment and in return you are being paid. You job should be trying to prove each of these claims by documents such as providing pay stubs, references from a supervisor...
